Scott Ritter
Scott Ritter is a pro-Russian, pro-Hamas "peace" activist.
Scott Ritter is a former US Marine Corps intelligence officer and author who served in the Soviet Union as an inspector implementing the INF Treaty, served in General Norman Schwarzkopf’s staff during the Gulf War, and from 1991 to 1998 served as a chief weapons inspector with the United Nations in Iraq.
Scott Ritter "resigned [his role as a UN Weapons Inspector] in August 1998 after accusing both Washington and the United Nations of not doing enough to support the weapons inspectors"
He was involved in multiple underage sex cases.[1]

Scott Ritter has often been a featured guest on Dialogue Works with Nima R. Alkhorshid.[2]
Praise for Tulsi Gabbard
On November 9, 2024, Scott Ritter endorsed Tulsi Gabbard for Secretary of State.[3],[4]
On November 13, 2024, Scott Ritter defends Tulsi Gabbard: "Tulsi Gabbard has more integrity, honor and courage packed into her left pinkie than you have in your entire being."[5],[6]
On October 4, 2020, Scott Ritter said he would be "writing in" Tulsi Gabbard for president.[7],[8]
RFK, Jr. Connection
On August 6, 2024, Scott Ritter posted an image on X with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. saying "Burgers with Bobby!"[9],[10]
On June 26, 2023, the Washington Free Beacon reported[11] that Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. hosted Scott Ritter on his podcast:
- "Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. on Sunday hosted a convicted child sex predator on his podcast to defend Russian president Vladimir Putin.
- Kennedy's guest was Scott Ritter, a former United Nations weapons inspector who served jail time in 2011 after exposing himself to a cop posing as a 15-year-old girl. The sex pest was brought on to discuss "Putin's Wagner Crisis" as the leader of a Russian mercenary group turned against the authoritarian leader. Ritter has predicted that Putin "will go down in history as one of the greatest leaders of all time."
- The podcast episode comes as Kennedy has been surging in the polls as voters grow weary of the prospect of a second term for President Joe Biden, who will turn 81 later this year. Nearly two-thirds of Democratic voters say they would consider backing Kennedy over Biden, according to a recent CNN survey.
- During the show, Ritter slammed the Russian mercenary leader who turned against Putin, Yevgeny Prigozhin, calling him "a traitor" who "stabbed Russia in the back."
- "I believe that eventually they're going to show that [Prigozhin] was influenced by foreign powers to carry out a coup d'état designed to collapse the government of Vladimir Putin," Ritter said. Kennedy responded that there was "chatter on the internet that the CIA was behind this insurrection as a regime change, but, you know, who knows whether it's true or not."
- Ritter, who during the Iraq war gained fame as an outspoken critic of the Bush administration, is a controversial figure due to his criminal history and his strong support for the Putin regime. In 2009, Ritter was arrested after masturbating on a webcam in front of a police officer posing as a 15-year-old girl. He served jail time for the incident and was required to register as a sex offender.
- Prior to that conviction, he was also arrested in 2001 for arranging meetings with undercover officers posing as minors online.
- Earlier this year, Ritter dropped out as a speaker at the Libertarian Party anti-war rally after uproar over his attendance, the Washington Free Beacon reported. The Quincy Institute, an isolationist think tank, in 2021 also pulled an article he wrote for its website.
- Ritter has also been embraced by many libertarian and anti-war activists on both the right and left. Former Fox News host Andrew Napolitano and Russian defector Tara Reade—known for accusing Biden of sexual assault—urged the Libertarian Party to keep Ritter on as a speaker. Ritter also spoke last year at a conference hosted by former Libertarian presidential candidate Ron Paul.

St. Petersburg International Economic Forum
From description of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2024 Panel Discussion: ‘the Empire Of Evil’: Has The West Successfully Demonized Russia? panel discussion:[12],[13]
- "Western political elites and media have spent decades cultivating a negative image of Russia. Over the past two years demonisation of Russia has reached new levels. The country is now seen as a threat to the whole of Europe. Claims that the conflict in Ukraine is just the first step have become axiomatic in Western discourse. Has the West's smear campaign succeeded? Are people in NATO countries convinced that Russia is to be feared? Is there consensus among the EU nations and the U.S.? Which trends in which countries dominate in 2024?

Vladimir Soloviev Interview
Vladimir Soloviev was interviewed by Scott Ritter in August, 2023. As per usual, the discussion was disparaging toward the United States and Ukraine, while complimentary toward Russia.[26] Vladimir Soloviev has also hosted Scott Ritter in July, 2022.[27]
July, 2022 interview summarized by Google AI:
- "This interview features Scott Ritter, a former US military intelligence officer who criticizes US foreign policy, discussing the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Ritter argues that Russia's operation is limited and they are making progress. He emphasizes that sanctions haven't significantly impacted Russia, while the West's own economy is suffering. In his view, the United States underestimated Russia's military strength and overestimated Ukraine's. Ritter believes the United States has taken an arrogant and disrespectful approach towards Russia, leading to failed negotiations. He argues that Russia has a legitimate reason for intervening: protecting ethnic Russians in Ukraine from a Neo-Nazi threat. Ritter warns that a protracted conflict will hurt the West more than Russia. Looking ahead, he predicts the US will ultimately have to accept a Russian victory and a new security landscape in Europe. To achieve this, the United States needs to rebuild trust with Russia through a new framework for European security. The interviewer seems to agree with Ritter's assessment of the United States underestimating Russia and the toll the conflict is taking on the West. They also express a desire for better United States-Russia relations.
Rage Against the War Machine
An article by Chuck Ross at the Washington Free Beacon titled "Pedophile Pulls Out of Libertarian ‘Anti-War’ Rally" dated February 10, 2023[28] revealed that due to controversy over Scott Ritter being a pedophile, he pulled out of the Rage Against the War Machine protest held on February 19, 2023 organized by the Movement for a People's Party and the Libertarian Party against US intervention in Russia's attack on Ukraine:
- "Convicted pedophile Scott Ritter has pulled out of a Libertarian Party-sponsored anti-war rally later this month following outcry over his criminal history.
- Ritter, a former United Nations weapons inspector, announced that "for personal reasons" he will no longer be speaking at the "Rage Against the War Machine" rally at the Lincoln Memorial on Feb. 19. The Libertarian Party and People's Party, a left-wing group, are holding the event to protest U.S. support for Ukraine. They are also calling to "slash" the Pentagon budget and "abolish" the CIA.
- Ritter’s withdrawal caps a tumultuous behind-the-scenes debate over whether he should appear at the rally. Libertarian Party leaders asked Ritter to withdraw from the event last week after a Washington Free Beacon report about his criminal past. Ritter was detained twice in 2001 after he arranged meetings with undercover police officers posing as a 14-year-old girl and 15-year-old girl. He was sentenced to prison in 2011 after he masturbated online in front of an undercover cop posing as a 15-year-old girl.
- Ritter was reinstated to the event after outcry from some of his fellow speakers. Andrew Napolitano, a former Fox News analyst, rallied to Ritter’s defense. So did Tara Reade, the former Joe Biden aide who has leveled unconfirmed sexual assault allegations against the president.
- Ritter released text from the speech he planned to give at the rally. In it, Ritter strikes a decidedly pro-Russia tone and recites from Martin Luther King, Jr.’s "I Have a Dream" speech, which the civil rights leader gave at the Lincoln Memorial nearly 60 years ago.
- "I too have a dream," Ritter says in his prepared remarks. "That by overcoming the hate generated by systemic Russophobia we can work with our fellow human beings in Russia to create communities of compassion that, when united, make a world filled with nuclear weapons undesirable, and policies built on the principles of mutually beneficial arms control second nature."
- Nick Brana, the head of the People's Party, said it was "a shame" that Ritter pulled out of the event.
- "Scott Ritter is a hero who has done more to stop war and save lives than almost anyone on Earth," said Brana, who served as national political outreach coordinator for Bernie Sanders’s 2016 presidential campaign.
US defeat in Iraq 'inevitable'
In 2003, Scott Ritter stated that American defeat in Iraq is "inevitable":[29]
- "Lisbon - The United States does not have the military means to take over Baghdad and will lose the war against Iraq, former UN weapons inspector Scott Ritter said.
- "The United States is going to leave Iraq with its tail between its legs, defeated. It is a war we can not win," he told private radio TSF in an interview broadcast here on Tuesday evening.
- "We do not have the military means to take over Baghdad and for this reason I believe the defeat of the United States in this war is inevitable," he said.
- War 'already lost'
- Stiffening Iraqi resistance as US-led forces close in on Baghdad have prompted questions about the strategy to use precision air power and a smaller, fast moving ground force to topple Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.
- Some military analysts have said there are not enough allied troops in Iraq to take control of Baghdad, where Saddam Hussein's elite troops are said to be concentrated, and that the planning of the war was overly optimistic.
- No plans to send more troops
- But British Prime Minister Tony Blair told parliament Wednesday the United States and Britain believe they have "sufficient forces" in Iraq and London was not planning to send reinforcements to the country at this stage.
- Ritter resigned in August 1998 after accusing both Washington and the United Nations of not doing enough to support the weapons inspectors.
