"This week, I’m honored to be traveling to Russia for the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. I will be speaking in three panels at the forum with the following distinguished guests:

1. The Panel on Philosophy & Geopolitics of a Multipolar World will be hosted by Professor Alexander Dugin on June 6th at 17:00 MSK, and I’ll be speaking alongside Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, Xi Jinping Advisor Professor Zhang Weiwei, Nelson Mandela’s Grandson Zwelivelile Mandlesizwe Dalibhunga Mandela, Konstantin Malofeev, Larry Johnson & Pepe Escobar.

2. At the invitation of the President of the Russian Federation I will be speaking at the panel on The New Media of a Multipolar World on June 8th at 10:00AM MSK. I will be joined alongside media leaders & CEO's from around China and Russia.

On February 26, 2024, renowned anti-liberal Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin spoke at the Second Congress of the International Russophile Movement (IMR) and the Forum on Multipolarity in Moscow. The event at the Lomonosov Innovation Centre of Moscow State University brought together foreign delegates from more than 130 countries. The event was attended by Russian government officials, political and public figures, and representatives of science and culture. Among the Russian speakers, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, political philosopher Alexander Dugin, and the chairman of the media group Tsargrad Konstantin Malofeev who is also the head of the World Russian People's Council. 'Transition to a new system of world order'

"Moscow is hosting the Second Congress of the International Russophile Movement and the Forum on Multipolarity, which gathered about 350 representatives from 130 countries of Asia, Europe, Africa, Latin and North America. The event was opened by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

In her speech, she pointed to the inevitability of the world community's transition to a new system of world order.

"Structural restructuring of the world economy and its transfer to a new technological basis, including the introduction of artificial intelligence, communication, energy biological technologies, nanotechnology, the growth of national self-awareness, cultural and civilizational diversity and other objective factors accelerate the processes of redistribution of development potential in favour of new centres of economic growth," the Foreign Ministry spokeswoman said.

Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said the development of international ties was a priority for Russia.

'Russia will continue to develop as a friendly, open to the whole world country. It will pursue an independent, pragmatic, peace-loving foreign policy, promote the democratisation of international life, its development on the principles of the UN Charter. Our current chairmanship of BRICS and the Commonwealth of Independent States, our active and constructive work in the EAEU, the SCO, the G20 and many other multilateral formats are aimed at achieving this goal. I will also note the close ties we are developing with regional integration associations"

Chang Weiwei, a leading expert on international relations of the Communist Party of China, emphasised during his speech at the forum that the concept of a unipolar world is outdated.

"Unipolarity is immoral, unjust and irrelevant. This order will change with the strengthening of the international positions of China, Russia, and the expansion of BRICS to include countries of the Global South and Global East in the alliance," he said.

"Multipolarity is very important, it provides alternatives to the world. We in turn look forward to Senegal becoming part of BRICS. The sooner the alliance includes those countries that have applied to join, the better," said Oumy Sene, secretary general of the “Kalinka” Cultural Centre in Senegal.

The forum was also attended by mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Jeff Monson, who advocated greater co-operation among BRICS countries in the economic sphere.

"If the BRICS nations agreed on some kind of common currency, it would be an effective solution. This currency, be it the ruble or something else, could be used in joint trade," said mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Jeff Monson.

According to the organisers of the event, the platform is designed to unite intellectuals from different parts of the world who advocate a multipolar world order based on mutual respect. The international movement of Russophiles was created at the founding meeting on 14 March 2023 in Moscow. It stands for the promotion of Russian cultural and humanitarian presence in the modern world.

Dear colleagues, dear friends,

First of all, I would like to congratulate the authors of the idea of organising the 1st Global Conference on Multipolarism, which took place in marathon mode online in April this year, on the success of this very important initiative. Indeed, already at the beginning of that unprecedented 17-hour forum in April, the need for such a discussion platform became clear. And its continuation in the format of regional conferences seems only natural.

In my opinion, the special value of today's meeting, which brought together the brightest representatives of contemporary political thought in Europe, lies in the umpteenth demonstration that the European intellectual vanguard, the intellectual elite, shares the global majority's conviction in a multipolar world order without alternatives. This conviction sounded like a refrain in the interventions of the European section of the April online marathon.

The polycentric world is increasingly becoming an objective reality. The second Russia-Africa summit, which brought together representatives of almost all African Union countries in St. Petersburg in July of this year, and the recent BRICS summit in South Africa, which confirmed the accuracy of the characterisation given to this association by Sergey Viktorovich Lavrov, who called the BRICS "a kind of cooperative 'network' cast over the old 'North-South' and 'West-East' demarcation lines", were new proof of this. The outcomes of the Johannesburg meeting clearly showed the attractiveness of this format of equitable multilateral interaction for countries tired of the global hegemony claims of the infamous 'golden billion'.

For example, the SCO and the EAEU, which could be used as a basis for building the Greater Eurasian Partnership that the Russian President talks about, belong to the same new type of organisations that offer participants the opportunity to join forces to solve common problems without imposing 'universal standards' or attempting to introduce some sort of 'rules-based order'.

In the current circumstances, finding an answer to the question of what place Europe will occupy in the renewed system of international coordinates is undoubtedly of paramount importance, first and foremost, of course, for the Europeans themselves. In this context, an important idea that can be deduced from the reports of the speakers at the first global conference on multipolarism is that the future of Europe as one of the centres of the multipolar world lies not in continuing to adhere to the line of blind vassal obedience to Washington's dictates, without restraint in promoting Russophobic hysteria, but in combining the undoubtedly valuable long-term experience of regional integration with the principles of respect for the sovereign equality of states and their national interests, including in the sphere of international relations.

I have no doubt that today's conference will be another important step in the process of theoretically elaborating the reforms so necessary for Europe, which would give the countries of the region the opportunity to take their rightful place in the changing system of international relations. I hope that the reflections expressed here will be listened to and accepted by the political elites of European countries, not to subject to repression those who dare to confess sympathies for Russia, as happened to one of the speakers at the first conference, Lorenzo Pacini, a professor at the de’ Medici University in Florence, who lost his job due to his participation in the aforementioned forum. I hope that your discussion, on the contrary, will serve to dampen the tones of those who still cling to the concept of liberalisation-globalisation, which has proven to be destructive.
