Ruth Carter serve as: Chair of the CDP Senior Caucus; Treasurer of Health Care for All-Marin; Co-Chair of the California Alliance for Retired Americans-Marin; elected member of the Democratic Central Committee of Marin; Treasurer of Marin Progressive Democrats for America; and was co-founder of Sanctuary Marin.

Standing for AD 10

In 2019 Ruth Carter stood from AD 10 for the California Democratic Party Central Committee.

Chair of the CDP Senior Caucus; Treasurer of Health Care for All-Marin; Co-Chair of the Marin Chapter of the California Alliance for Retired Americans; Elected member of the Democratic Central Committee of Marin and was an elected Sanders delegate to the 2016 Presidential Convention.[1]
