"DSA state legislature victories"
From Liza Featherstone in Jacobin:
- Philadelphia sent three DSA-endorsed candidates to state government: Nikil Saval to State Senate, and Rick Krajewski and Elizabeth Fiedler to the statehouse. Minnesota also gained a socialist state senator, Jen McEwen. In Western Montana, DSA helped send Danny Tenenbaum to the statehouse. [3]
DSA victories
PA Wilds DSA June 3 2020·
Last night was a huge night for Democratic Socialists of America-backed candidates in Pennsylvania. The biggest news is Nikil Saval's probable win for state senate in the first senatorial district, in Philadelphia, as well as an apparent close win (pending mail-in ballots) for Rick Krajewski in the 188th legislative district. DSA members Summer Lee, Sara Innamorato, Elizabeth Fiedler and Chris Rabb were relected to the statehouse as well. Our movement is growing, and we're gonna win! Join us.

Netroots Nation
July 2019 Philadelphia hosted the Netroots Nation conference, a national gathering of progressives in pursuit of networking, collaboration, and inspiration from grassroots movements. The Reclaim Philadelphia crew made our presence known, participating in several sessions and shaking things up with a direct action, alongside allies Coalition to Abolish Death By Incarceration, that targeted Attorney General Josh Shapiro.
On Thursday morning, Rick Krajewski, our lead Mass Liberation Organizer, was on a panel alongside our allies (and officemates!), Bryan Mercer, Hannah Jane Sassaman, Arielle Klagsbrun, and Kendra Brooks, who are with Media Mobilizing Project, 215 People's Alliance, and the Our City Our Schools Coalition, to discuss how coalition organizing has taken Philly to the next level, and the unique challenges we've faced in doing it.[5]
