Hello comrades and friends! We've recently changed the name and logo of our page. This is provisional, of course, pending our formal organization as a local chapter of DSA, which we hope will happen soon. But we thought it might be a good time to reflect on the history of this page. We began over a year ago as "Kalispell for Bernie Sanders" and have evolved, as a reaction to national events, into an informal group for members and fellow-travelers of the Democratic Socialists of America not just in Kalispell but the wider Flathead and Glacier Park areas of Northwest Montana. And though we were not able to see Bernie elected or Trump defeated, the marvelous growth of DSA in Montana and in our corner of the state particularly has given us hope that, as Eugene Debs once said, "The cross is bending, the midnight is passing, and joy cometh with the morning." Solidarity forever!
