St. Louis Democratic Socialists of America is a Missouri affiliate of Democratic Socialists of America.

New beginnings

Mitch Eagles, was in 2017, contact for St. Louis Democratic Socialists of America Organizing Committee.[1]

Cydney Johnson & Britta Thornton took over the job in July 2017.[2]

Followed quickly by  Maddy Oberman.[3]

Folger Boycott

In 1990, St. Louis Democratic Socialists of America  made the Folger Boycott a major activity with help from UFCW International Affairs Director Stanley Gacek.[14]

Higgins awards

[St.Louis Democratic Socialists of America] honors its most committed activists with the Janie Higglns and Jimmie Higgins Awards. By 1991 date winners of the awards, for work beyond the call of duty, were Richard Burke, Pat Grace, and Katherine Litwak.[15]
