Sara Terry

Template:TOCnestleft Sara Terry is a Durham, North Carolina activist. She is a long time Durham People’s Alliance member, and has served as President several times in the past, most recently in 2013, but previously in the late 1990's. After graduating from the University of Kansas with a degree in Systematics and Ecology, she headed off to Zaire (now Democratic Republic of Congo) where she served first as a fisheries volunteer, then as a regional volunteer leader. She then returned to the U.S. and began her career in the air quality office of the US Environmental Protection Agency, where she is currently employed.[1]
