A Phoenix-based advocacy group has been registering new voters and getting Latinos out to vote with one aim: to unseat Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who is running for a seventh term this year.

Leidy Robledo, 25, one of Bazta Arpaio's lead organizers, in 2016. Maricruz Ramirez, 50, from Hidalgo, Mexico, Guadalupe Ponce, 46, were also active in the organization.[1]
