Lachlan Good was in 2022, the vice-president of NSW Young Labor, and the leader of Young Labor Left - NSW. Special Education teacher.

Weekend of action against AUKUS

A national weekend of action against AUKUS was organised over December 10-12 2024 with protests in Canberra, Perth, Sydney, Wollongong, Hobart, Brisbane and Adelaide.

Around 200 people protested in Sydney on December 11. Speakers included Wongkangurru man Raymond Finn, an anti-nuclear campaigner, who acknowledged country; Greens Senator Mehreen Faruqi; a speaker from School Strike 4 Climate; Lachlan Good from Young Labor Left and Warren Smith, Assistant National Secretary of the Maritime Union of Australia.[1]

Congratulations to the strong team of socialist organisers who were elected through a ballot at our AGM yesterday! We are excited to be led by incoming Young Labor Vice-President Lachlan Good and YLL Secretary Amy Spencer in our efforts to throw out the Libs and build working class power to achieve socialist victories ✊🌹
