Members Discussion Session - Socialist Reponses to the crises and SEARCH’s Role
Our final session involves a report back from the breakout sessions by rapporteurs Matt Byrne, Elliot D'Arcy and Caitlin Perry, and then a roundtable of SEARCH members, facilitated by Brian Aarons, discussing socialist responses to the issues raised over the weekend. The roundtable features SEARCH members Louise Connor, Daren McDonald, Adrian Graves, Victoria Brookman, Rebecca Thompson and Bart Shteinman. That is followed followed by an open floor discussion, where once again members will have a chance to express their views.[2]

Rally for Offshore Wind! Renewable future for the Hunter!
Today YLL members joined unionists, environmentalists and our comrades from the Hunter Young Labor Association along with Tim Crakanthorp MP, Sharon Claydon MP & Jodie Harrison MP to rally in support of the Hunter offshore wind project. The Hunter has powered NSW for generations, and as Australia moves to phase out fossil fuel use and enter the renewable era it's essential that communities like the Hunter continue to have well paid, secure, and environmentally friendly jobs.

Labor Against War well represented at tonight’s snap anti-AUKUS rally at Sydney Town Hall. LAW spokesperson Marcus Strom said Labor has a noble track record opposing wars of aggression in Vietnam and Iraq. Rank-and-file Labor members want the Federal Government to act in accord with Labor values — step back from the AUKUS war pact and ditch the proposed nuclear subs.
James Miranda from Young Labor Left - NSW slammed the astronomical cost of the subs, which he said will severely damage Australia’s energy transition and ability to support our most vulnerable people.

No place for a nuclear base! Thank you to all our comrades from across the state who came down for the 5000 strong Port Kembla May Day Rally on Saturday.
The Illawarra region and the South Coast Labour Council have fought hard for a Just Transition and a central role in our renewable energy future. But plans for Offshore Wind and new clean industries are threatened by the proposal for a Nuclear Submarine Base in Port Kembla.
Anthony Albanese and Penny Wong - Senator for SA had the opportunity to scrap Morrison's AUKUS pact and reassert Australia's independence from American empire.
We were proud to stand with this Union Town and staunch anti-nuclear unions like the ETU - The Electrical Trades Union in demanding a rethink of the proposed $368,000,000,000 Nuclear Subs deal.
Special thank you to Grayndler FEC Secretary Richard Walsham for joining us for a post-rally lunch and Rod Mackenzie from Why Documentaries for the pics!

Helping Susan Templeman
Young Labor Left - NSW · Follow
Susan Templeman MP has worked tirelessly to serve her community these past three years 💪🗳 Whether it's holding the Liberals to account for their failure to build flood-resilient infrastructure, or winning a commitment to build a Headspace in the Hawkesbury, Susan has fought for the people of Macquarie through thick and thin.
Young Labor Left is proud to be supporting her this election, and helping her office reach and assist people affected by the floods.
