YCLer
Today, YCL West of England are particularly attentive to study. In addition to regular group study of Britain’s Road to Socialism, we have also independently organised a reading and discussion group around a series of pamphlets including Stalin’s Anarchism or Socialism, Marx’s Wages, Price and Profit, and Lenin’s Imperialism: The Highest Stage of Capitalism. Dan Daly’s efforts in leading these discussions are an invaluable local contribution.
Harry Hoar, in the immediate aftermath of his involvement in the Bristol #KillTheBill demonstration, was first off the mark to provide a statement highlighting the context of class struggle behind the police’s unprovoked brutality towards protestors, which he had witnessed first-hand.
Harry has taken on a role as our in-house artist, designing and painting the YCL West of England banner used at the Bristol #KillTheBill demonstrations.[2]
