John Lewis connection

Center for Political Education

In 2007 Palak Shah a CPE Collective member led a discussion after a film showing event entitled: "Jesus Camp: Film Showing" on understanding the various tendencies and why the Left should care to understand. The film itself is about the Christian Right’s tactical approach to winning new hearts and minds. The classes were held at the San Francisco based Center for Political Education, an organization closely associated with the Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism.[1]

In 2008, Palak Shah was listed as a sponsor/financial contributor to the Chicago based Business and Professional People for the Public Interest.[2]
