Background

“I was brought up in a household that discouraged discussion about politics and encouraged the status quo. Social activism became a part of my life when I took a community organizing class in college and I confronted everything I grew up believing was right. I’m thrilled to be involved with organizations, causes, and struggles that are fighting the very things that keep me up at night. My commitment was renewed this year when I coached two social justice organizations through the Liberty Hill Foundation. I am looking forward to getting more involved with other social justice organizations through RoadMap.”
