Darryl Mitchell is the author of the pamphlet “Detroit: A History of Struggle, A Vision of the Future” (2010), and the book Marxist Glossary: Expanded Edition (2014).[1]

Darryl Mitchell is a founding member of the League of Revolutionary Black Workers, a former union rep of the UAW, and a founding member of the Communist Labor Party. He is the author of the pamphlet “Detroit: A History of Struggle, A Vision of the Future” (2010), and the book Marxist Glossary: Expanded Edition (2014).

Now a retired Detroit autoworker, Darryl Mitchell became politically active at the age of 11. He joined the League of Revolutionary Black Workers at age 16. He was also a founding member of MERUM, Mound Road Engine RUM (Revolutionary Union Movement.) A participant in the 2010 Detroit Social Forum and Occupy Detroit, the Peoples Tribune published his pamphlet “Detroit: A History of struggle. A vision of the Future” in 2010. He is currently a member of the League of Revolutionaries for a New America.[2]
