Abdeen Jabara

He also represented a strange convergence of a pro-Arab, anti-Israel activist who worked hand-in-hand with the communists, especially the Trotskyite Socialist Workers Party.

Jabara was identified as a "past president of AAUG" in the Congressional Record, Feb. 17, 1977, Extension of Remarks, Rep. Larry McDonald (D-GA), Page 381, "The PLO's Terrorist Support Networks in the United States"

Free Palestine

Jabara was identified as having been the editor of Free Palestine, a publication "which militantly supported the actions of the terrorist organization", the PLO, "in the late 1960's and early 1970's"..

National Peace Action Coalition

Jabara was listed as a member of the Steering Committee of the congressional cited SWP front, the National Peace Action Coalition (NPAC) on a list of those members dated 11/21/70, as published as Exhibit 217, in "National Peace Action Coalition (NPAC) and Peoples Coalition for Peace and Justice (PCPJ) Part 4, Hearings, House Internal Security Committee (HISC), July 20-22 & June 17, 1971, page 3831, as Editor, Free Palestine.

National Lawyers Guild

Jabara was identified as a member of the congressional cited Communist Party USA (CPUSA) legal front, the National Lawyers Guild (NLG) in the following sources:

• Congressional Record, Feb. 17, 1977, Page E 821, Extension of Remarks, Rep. Larry McDonald, D-GA), "The PLO's Terrorist Support Networks in the United States" - described Jabara as "a Detroit member of the National Lawyers Guild and past president of the AAUG (Arab-American University Graduates) who is suing the Federal Government on the grounds that he was overheard on 13 national security wiretaps."

Center for Constitutional Rights

Jabara serves on the Board of Directors of the Center for Constitutional Rights.

Lawsuit Filed Against the U.S. Government

Jabara was a plaintiff/attorney for several lawsuits filed against the U.S. government and its intelligence and defense agencies. According to the cited Congressional Record of Feb. 17, 1977, Page E 821:

"In 1971, with IPS Institute for Policy Studies codirectors Richard Barnett and Marcus Raskin among the plaintiffs, Jabara filed suit in Federal court to obtain U.S. 'Government studies on contingency plans for U.S. military intervention in the Middle East', a set of documents of immeasurable benefit to the Soviet Union and the PLO."

International Symposium on Zionism as a Racist Phenomenon

Jabara was identified as a participant in the International Symposium on Zionism as a Racist Phenomenon, held in Baghdad, Iraq, November 1976, an event "organized by the Iraqi Government." (Cong. Rec. Feb. 17,1977, Page E821, as cited).

Palestine Solidarity Committee

Jabara was an "endorser" of an ad by the marxist-oriented Palestine Solidarity Committee (PSC) which appeared in the maoist weekly newspaper, the Guardian, May 25, 1988, page 7, entitled "National Day of Protest to End Israeli Occupation". This was during the First Infitada period. The protest was set for June 4, 1988 in New York, Chicago, Houston and San Francisco.

• Abdeen Jabara - was identified as Executive Director, (ADC).

Endorsers of this ad included the most extreme of the anti-Israel, marxist and Arab/pro-PLO organizations and individuals, with a significant presence of the then Trotskyite, later Stalinist Workers World Party (WWP) and its front groups/members.

Not In Our Name - NION

Jabara was identified as a member of NION's Advisory Board in an article that appeared in the online magazine, "FrontPageMagazine.com", March 19, 2003, by Michael Tremoglie, an journalist who specialized in the communist and related extremist movements in the U.S. Not In Our Name was an amalgam of several communist and pro-communist organizations including the maoist Revolutionary Communist Party (RCP),Interreligious Foundation for Community Organization (ICO), led by marxist sympathizer Rev. Lucious Walker (died in 2010); the longtime Communist Party USA (CPUSA) dominated Women's International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF), and several extremist Arab organizations. Tremoglie wrote the following about Jabara:

"One of the members of NION's Advisory Board, Abdeen Jabara, is a member of the legal advisory board for the American Muslim Council (AMC). He is a past president of the Arab-American Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC), a board member of William Kunstler's Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR), and a co-counsel with Lynne Stewart for Sheik Rahman, the terrorist convicted for the 1993 World Trade Center bombing."

[KW: Stewart was sentenced to 10 years in jail for aiding the "Blind Sheik" Rahman smuggle messages to his followers out of where he has been jailed.]

"Jabara is also a member of the legal advisory board for the Council for Palestinian Restitution and Repatriation (CPRR) as well. The non-profit CPRR exists to 'provide legal assistance to Palestinian refugees and their heirs and to educate the public about the legitimate rights of Palestinians'."

"Abdeen Jabara also works closely with another IFCO project called the Coalition Against the "Counter Terror" Act. He distributes its flyers and has appeared in a video for the group, which may be purchased for $15 a copy - from IFCO."

March on Wall Street

On April 3 2008 Abdeen Jabara a board member of CCR, New York endorsed a Bail Out the People Movement organized "March on Wall Street" ;

Because we must demand that the needs of the people come before the greed of the super rich. Millions are jobless and homeless, and millions more will be living on the streets if the government continues to waste trillions of dollars on saving wealthy bankers instead of saving people.
