In what appears to be an appendage of the marxist-oriented Stop The Machine, aka October 2011 Movement and what appears to be an affinity group US Day of Rage, an announcement was made a new group Democracy Convention will hold a day of speakers, sessions, and artists in Madison, Wisconsin on August 24-28, 2011. A full-page announcement about this convention appeared in the July 2011 issue of The Progressive, a marxist publication posing as a "progressive" voice.
The incestous relationships of the Left are very apparent here as the Democracy Convention was identified at their website, www.democracyconvention.org/about-convention (8/08/2011) as:
"The (Democracy Convention) is a project of the Liberty Tree Foundation and co-convened by the Alliance for Democracy, (Progressive Magazine), and Move to Amend. We thank our local partners on our Host Committee, as well as our national partners whose support as Major Sponsors, Co-Sponsors, Endorsers, and Conference Conveners, has been vital. To find out how your organization, union, business, or community can join us,, click her http://democracyconvetnion.org/sponsor-convention."
Also, it was described as:
"The Democracy Convention is a project of (Liberty Tree), a strategy center uniquely committed to building a new democracy movement for the U.S.A. Liberty Tree supports and unites campaigns for democratic reform across many areas of life."
What is quite outstanding is the cross-membership of people in/supporting (Stop The Machine), Liberty Tree, and Democracy Convention, as one can see by bluelinks of names of individuals at Keywiki.
