William Perry
The Honorable Dr. William J. Perry is a Michael and Barbara Berberian Professor at Stanford University. He was the former Secretary of Defense from February 1994 to January 1997, and is a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution. He previously served as Deputy Secretary of Defense (1993-1994) and Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (1977-1981).[1]

Open Letter to Obama on Iran
In 2008 William Perry of Peterborough, NH signed an online petition “A Open Letter to Barack Obama on Iran”.[3]
Truman National Security Project
As at September 8, 2010, William Perry served on the Board of Directors for the Truman National Security Project.[4] The project is an organization that seeks to recruit, train and elect progressives who will impact on National Security legislation.
