Standing for AD 7
In 2019 Tamika L'Ecluse stood from AD 7 for the California Cemocratic Party central Committee.
- Currently, I am a member of the Democratic Party of Sacramento County, Women Democrats of Sacramento, and Wellstone Progressive Democrats. Over the past few years, I have witnessed an increasingly divided party, where moderate positions have weakened the party’s ability to advance progressive agendas and candidates. I am confident that electing leaders who are familiar with the districts they serve, are active in community affairs within and beyond the Party, and contribute a fresh, new perspective, will help our state Party evolve into a powerhouse that not only changes the face of elected leadership, but holds its leaders accountable to their promises and the members.
As a teacher and mother, my vote is not only for my community and California, but for future leaders who may not have a voice. I want to represent Assembly District 7 as an elected delegate because I believe in our democracy and our party. I believe 2020 is our year to take back our country and change the face of politics. I look forward to serving as an ADEM Delegate, and hope to earn your vote!.[1]
