Rod Such is a former journalist and retired encyclopedia editor. He is active in decolonization campaigns.

CCDS

The Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism held its every third-year national convention online Saturday, June 1 and Sunday June 2, 2024.

At mid-morning Jerry Harris gave the keynote address that highlighted the current political situation within the global context.

Next were several workshops on CCDS committees that included Elections (Carl Davidson), Class Race and Gender (Erica Carter and Paul Krehbiel), and Peace & Solidarity: International Relations, part 1 (Harry Targ, Duncan McFarland, Peter Deutsch).

After lunch, workshops resumed, with sessions on Labor (Paul Krehbiel and Sandy Eaton), the Environment and Climate (David Schwartzman), the Socialist Education Project (Jay D. Jurie), and Peace & Solidarity Part 2: Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (Stephen David, Rod Such & Harry Targ).[1]

National Fight Back Conference

Rod Such was a New York delegate to the October League's December 1975 "National Fight Back Conference" in Chicago.

Open Letter to Obama on Iran

In 2008 Rod Such of Evergreen Peace and Justice Community, Redmond, WA signed an online petition “A Open Letter to Barack Obama on Iran”.[2]
