The Network for a Nato-Free Future is a coalition of peace, faith and economic justice groups hosting a Counter-Summit for Peace and Economic Justice at the time of the NATO and G-8 summits in Chicago May 18-19, 2012.

April 4 Cambridge MA Teach-In on NATO

"The 1% – What’s NATO Got to Do with It? Afghanistan, Libya, Russia, Iran, China & Economic Injustice" , A teach-in with Vijay Prashad, Ellen Frank & Joseph Gerson, was held April 4, 2012 Cambridge Friends Meeting, 5 Longfellow Park (off Brattle Street, near Harvard Square), Massachusetts.[1]

Anti Nato actions in Chicago

Nato-Free Future helped organize the anti Nato Counter-Summit for Peace and Economic Justice on May 18-19, 2012, in Chicago, and joinedwith the the Iraq Veterans Against the War’s March for Justice & Reconciliation at noon on Sunday, May 20.[2]

Gerson involvement

Joseph Gerson of the American Friends Service Committee, one of the organizations in Network for a NATO-Free Future, had an op-ed published on 10 May 2012 in the Huffington Post.[3]
