Weathermen Flint "War Council"

December 27-31, 1969, about 400 of the national membership of the Weatherman faction of SDS held a “War Council” at a ballroom dancehall in Flint, Michigan.

Cars stopped during the “War Council” contained known members of Weather/Students for a Democratic Society and other passengers: Frederick Lee Miller with Richard L. Feldman, K. Sacks and Bernard Riff; David Flatley with Gerald D. Mitchell and Jerome J. Walsh; Jon Frappier with Nancy Gail Stein; James K. Kilpatrick; Harold R. Lade with George Crowley; John David Buttney with Raymond Lee Mosher, Ralph E. Ridgom, Benjamin C. Israel, Michael Wood and Richard D. Lee; Frank Hubert Mather with Bradley Brent Conners, Robert Bruce Mackowsky, Dennis Howland and Mike Ross Camp; Bahram Salimi with Gregory Albert Jaynes, Hamayoun Dehehan and Alirez Dehgan; Natasha Burd with Janet Rae Austin, Shari Ann Whitehead, Andrew Julian Truskier, Nancy Kurshan, Lendal B. Second Venceremos Brigade

In 1970 Nancy Barrett Frappier from Arbor, Michigan was a member of the first Venceremos Brigade to Cuba.[2]

In the early 1970s Nancy Frappier was active in the Weather Underground Organization support group-the Praire Fire Organizing Committee. According to the FBI's Weather Underground file, she was associated with many WUO members and her car was parked outside the Weathermen's December 1969 "War Council" at Flint Michigan. In 1971 the FBI also observed Jennifer Dohrn visiting Frappier's home in San Francisco.

The FBI also suspected that Nancy Frappier traveled to Cuba in February 1970.

In 1976 Nancy Frappier for Bay Area Prairie Fire Organizing Committee attended the Weather Underground and Prairie Fire Organizing Committee organized Hard Times Conference Jan 30 - Feb 1 at the University of Chicago.[3].

Green for All

In 2005, Van Jones and Diana Frappier launched the Ella Baker Center's Green-Collar Jobs Campaign. This led to the establishment of the US's first "Green Jobs Corps" in Oakland.

n 2007, Van Jones announced a new national organization Green For All-to take the Green Jobs campaign nationwide.

Diana Frappier served on the founding board of Green For All. Jon Frappier and Nancy Frappier are listed as donors to the organization[4].

San Francisco health worker

Today Nancy Frappier works in health services in the Bay Area.

Both Diana Frappier and Nancy Frappier donate to the Berkeley YMCA[5].
