Arthur Lipow
Template:TOCnestleft Dr. Arthur Lipow is a retired academic who taught at the University of London, Birkbeck College, and the Institute of United States Studies. He received his PhD from the University of California, Berkeley in 1969.[1]

The conference was held April 24-26, 1992 at the Borough of Manhattan Community College, New York City.
Lipow also spoke alongside Elaine Bernard; Kurt Stand, Democratic Socialists of America and Judy Page, New Party were speakers on the Towards a New Party panel sponsored by the Democratic Socialists of America.[3]

Lipow founded and was Director of the Michael Harrington Center.[4]

Lipow founded and was Director of the Labour and Society International (LSI) in London.[5]
British Labor Party
Lipow was a member of the British Labour Party.[6]
European Nuclear Disarmament
Lipow was an active participant in European Nuclear Disarmament (END) while in England.[7]
Alameda Public Affairs Forum
In 1998, Dr. Lipow returned from his teaching position in London, to California. Here he co-founded the Alameda Public Affairs Forum in 2003.[8]
Center for Global Peace and Democracy
He co-founded the Center for Global Peace and Democracy in 2007.[9]
