Against the Current

Andrew Kliman, Kevin Anderson, Roslyn Bologh, Paresh Chattopadhyay and Anwar Shaikh, New School for Social Research were speakers on the 125th Anniversary of Marx's Capital panel at the Tenth Annual Socialist Scholars Conference. The conference was held April 24-26, 1992 at the Borough of Manhattan Community College, New York City[1]

Socialist Scholars Conference

Mary Malloy, Against the Current; Ernest Mandel and Anwar Shaikh, New School for Social Research were speakers on the The International Crisis of Capitalism panel sponsored by the Fourth International Tendency at the Tenth Annual Socialist Scholars Conference. The conference was held April 24-26, 1992 at the Borough of Manhattan Community College, New York City.

Shaikh also spoke alongside Katherine Kanzanas, New School for Social Research and Kim Moody, Labor Notes, Solidarity on the Left Perspectives on the North American Free Trade Act panel sponsored by Against the Current.[2]

Communist "Manifestivity"

On October 30 and 31, 1998 the Brecht Forum presented the "Communist Manifestivity to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Communist Manifesto" at Cooper Union's Great Hall, New York.

Individual endorsers of the event included Anwar Shaikh.[3]
