Zack Exley
Zack Exley is an organizer and writer based in Kansas City, Missouri. In 2009, as an Open Society Institute Fellow he was writing a series of articles about the evolution of the organizing model used by the Obama campaign and about efforts by community and labor groups that used many of the same principles and practices. "He is also exploring ways to enable local leaders, organizers, and social service providers in Missouri to mobilize diverse constituencies that do not normally work together."
Exley is a founder of the New Organizing Institute and worked with the Obama campaign as a consultant and researcher. He was online director for the British Labor Party's 2005 campaign, director of online organizing for Kerry-Edwards 2004, and organizing director at MoveOn.org. He served as an adviser to the Howard Dean campaign and spent much of the 1990s working as a union organizer.[1]
Left Forum
Bill Friedheim, Zack Exley of New Organizing Institute, Beka Economopoulos of Greenpeace, Elana Levin of Drum Major Institute and Tate Hausman of DotOrganize were speakers on the CyberOrganizing-The Internet and Beyond panel at the Left Forum. The forum was held March 9 - 11, 2007 at Cooper Union College, New York City.
Exley also spoke alongside Howie Hawkins and Chris Gavreau, co-founder, Labor Party on the What would a Serious Left Electoral Program Be? panel.[2]

in 2016 Zack Exley was a board member of Brand New Congress.
Justice Democrats
In December 2016, Cenk Uygur, Kyle Kulinski, a Young Turks network colleague who hosts "Secular Talk," and Zack Exley and Saikat Chakrabarti, top Bernie Sanders campaign staffers launched Justice Democrats, a Political Action Committee (PAC) that "aims to recruit and fund a slate of primary challengers under an anti-corporate, progressive banner."[3]
Saikat Chakrabarti, Justice Democrats executive director, was director of organizing technology for Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign.[4]
