Standing for AD 37

In 2019 Woodrow Davidson stood from AD 37 for the California Democratic Party Central Committee.

My name is Woodrow Davidson and I am running as an Assembly District Delegate because I want to amplify progressive issues and student voices within the California Democratic Party.

For the past three years I have been a member of UCSB Campus Democrat’s Executive Board, and I have volunteered countless times to canvass and help elect Democrats to local offices such as Congress, county supervisor, city council, and beyond. As a party activist, I have recruited Democratic students to the club and helped teach them the functions and structures of our local party as well the California Democratic Party. As a Democrat through and through, it is my belief that Democrats ought to stay united because this is not only how we beat Republicans, but also how we are able to collectively push for tangible change within our communities.[1]
