The Progressive America Fund is an organization founded in 1996 as a nonpartisan organization that provides research and education on issues relating to economic, social, and human rights. Its mission is to improve the lives of middle-income, low-income, and no-income families through policy reforms and civic participation.[1]

It received a grant from the Proteus Fund and a $100,000 grant from the Tides Foundation.

One of its projects, the National Open Ballot Project, was formerly the New Majority Education Fund, a Tides Center project.
