Arms Control Association
The Arms Control Association was founded in 1971 and is based in Washington, D.C. The Association claims to be a national nonpartisan membership organization, dedicated to promoting public understanding of and support for effective arms control policies. As at March 19, 2010, Michael Klare served as a director on the board of the Arms Control Association.

In 2007 Michael Klare was listed on the DataCenter's annual report as a donor to the organization. The Oakland, California based DataCenter is widely regarded as the intellegence wing of the United States Left and has close ties to Cuba.[3]
