Template:TOCnestleft Leslie Brown currently works as a Community Coach that partners with numerous for profit and nonprofit organizations to support the integration and development of sustainable coaching strategies. Her specialization areas in coaching include: Coach Training, Organizational Coaching Integration, Community Coaching and Trauma Informed Coaching. She also works as the International Program Director for Leadership That Works, a coach training organization that is dedicated to supporting the spread of coaching in communities that have traditional been denied access.

Prior to earning her coaching certification Leslie worked in the nonprofit capacity building sector, supporting projects and teams that promote social justice — she has a background in leadership development, youth development and evaluation. “What brought me to the field of coaching was the idea of supporting deep change while aligning my strengths to support next generation leaders.”

Formerly, Leslie worked as the Director of Coaching at Beyond Emancipation (B:E), an organization that works with youth with experience in the foster and probation system who are emancipating from care. Her role as the 1st Director of Coaching assisted the organization to develop a cutting edge coaching model (CCRW) that recently won an International Coaching Federation (ICF) 2016 Prism Award Honorable Mention.

Leslie received her professional coaching certification through Leadership that Works and holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Michigan.[1]
