In 1998 the Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism linked organization, the Center for Political Education hosted a forum entitled "The Workplace as a Site of Social Struggle: 1960’s and 1990’s". The inter-generational dialogue featured the following speakers:

Endorsed Communist Party fund raiser

Peoples Weekly World, September 11, 1999

In September 1999, Leo Robinson, Coalition of Black Trade Unionists, and ILWU local 10 (ret.) co-sponsored a Communist Party USA fund raising event in Berkeley. Rep. Lynn Woolsey co-sponsored the same event.[2]

1999 May Day greetings

May Day greeting was included in the Special May Day 1999 Supplement of the Communist Party USA's People's Weekly World. Greeters included Leo Robinson.[3]

Free Mumia Abu-Jamal

In 2008 Leo Robinson, retiree, ILWU Local 10, Raymond, CA signed a statement circulated by the Partisan Defense Committee calling for the release of convicted “cop-killer” Mumia Abu-Jamal.[4]

In 1986 organizers of the West Coast Conference in Solidarity with the National Liberation Movements of South Africa (ANC) and Namibia (SWAPO) included Leo Robinson, International Longshore and Warehouse Union, Local 10 Southern Africa Liberation Support Committee.
