Join DSA for Bernie on Tuesday, April 21st for a panel featuring Jacobin’s Meagan Day and Micah Uetricht, NPC members Megan Svoboda and Kristen Cervero, and former Bernie staffer and Detroit DSA electoral co-chair Jess Newman for a discussion about our lessons from the Bernie campaign, how we bring Bernie supporters into our movement, and what we can do not to “demobilize” in the wake of Bernie dropping out.[4]

🌹Hi NYC DSA friends!! 🌹

I’m so proud to be running on this slate for DSA’s national convention with some amazing comrades from around the city — people who have done amazing work to build DSA and from which I’ve learned so much about what it means to be a socialist organizer. Thanks in part to their guidance and example I’ve been able to help lead some of the amazing work NYU YDSA has been doing in the last year, from canvassing for the New York Health Act to mobilizing for a housing justice march, from registering students to vote (and hopefully convincing them to vote for Bernie!) to hosting incredible panel events on Medicare for All and the Green New Deal. I’m so proud of the work we’ve done, and stoked that my fabulous NYU YDSA comrades Bill Reisman, Oren Schweitzer, Pamela M. Allen, Lilly Walsingham, Nina Svirsky, Kristen Cervero, and Adrian Mikulak are all running to represent NYC and NYU YDSA at the national DSA convention. I hope you’ll consider voting for us, for the Bread and Roses slate, and for Beeba No, Alex Pellitteri, and Sebastian Uchida Chavez from NYC YDSA!
