Template:TOCnestleft Kate Werning is a Lead Trainer with Momentum. She got her start organizing youth-led campaigns for racial justice and immigrant and worker rights in her hometown of Milwaukee during the Wisconsin Uprising, and subsequently worked with Carlos Saavedra to launch the Ayni Institute, Momentum, and Cosecha. She has trained with Oppression in the Soma, James Lawson, Midwest Academy, and New Organizing Institute, and offers resilience practice workshops to address trauma and embodiment in our work for collective change. She also runs the Healing Justice podcast.[1]
