Julie Peters, Jean Cohen, Martha Fineman and Kendall Thomas, all of Columbia University were speakers on the Cultural Difference, Gender & Rights panel sponsored by the Democratic Socialists of America and the City University of New York at the Tenth Annual Socialist Scholars Conference. The conference was held April 24-26, 1992 at the Borough of Manhattan Community College, New York City.
Cohen also spoke alongside Andrew Arato, New School for Social Research and Stanley Aronowitz on the Author Meets the Critics panel sponsored by the Michael Harrington Center.[1]
