Ivanna Gonzalez

Ivanna Gonzalez is a Venezolana raised in Miami. Ivanna is the Chief Campaigns Officer at Florida Rising, a statewide membership-based organization building political power in Black and brown communities through organizing, civic engagement, and year-round issue campaigning. Ivanna coordinates the organization’s issue-based organizing work in housing, reproductive, climate and criminal justice. For 10 years before returning to Florida, Ivanna organized coalitions for youth organizing, police accountability, immigrant justice, and redistricting reform in North Carolina at Common Cause NC, HBCU Student Action Alliance and Blueprint North Carolina, the state’s civic engagement partnership.
