Radical Philosophy Association
The Radical Philosophy Association (RPA) was founded in 1968 (as the Radical Caucus within the American Philosophical Association) and was renamed and formed the Radical Philosophy Association in 1982. It holds alternative sessions and occasional weekend conferences, including a series of conferences on Class, Race and Gender.
RPA has been the principal organizer of an annual conference in Havana since 1990. The conference helps "to try to undermine the U.S. blockade of Cuba."
The RPA publishes the RPA Newsletter. In 1994 the RPA held its first International/National Conference at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.[1]
