UNITE was founded by Tim Shriver in 2020 dedicated to "to addressing universal challenges that can only be solved together." The COVID Collaborative, ACT NOW, Awakening America, UnitED and Peace Talks are sponsored initiatives of UNITE.^[1],^[2]

The Call to Unite: Voices of Hope and Awakening

The Book "The Call to Unite: Voices of Hope and Awakening" is the manifesto of UNITE, published in March, 2021. From the UNITE website:^[3]"Featuring stories and insights from Bishop TD Jakes, Elizabeth Gilbert, Van Jones, Arthur Brooks, Amy Grant, Dr. Rheeda Walker, Pastor Rick Warren, Rev. Jacqui Lewis, Jewel, Deepak Chopra and many others, The Call to Unite offers readers a book of wisdom to turn to in hard times." The book was edited by Tim Shriver and Tom Rosshirt with an epilogue by Maria Shriver.

ACT NOW

UNITE's ACT NOW is described^[4] as "an initiative to reimagine policing and public safety for the 21st century by harnessing the energy and ingenuity of the American people."

We imagine an America where policing and public safety are free from bias, misuse of force, and systemic racism.

Toolkit for Faith Communities

UNITE's COVID Collaborative took part in a livestream video presentation on March 9, 2021^[5] as part of the Toolkit for Faith Communities, described as the COVID-19 Vaccine Education Initiative, a project of the Ad Council and the COVID Collaborative, which is described as a sponsored initiative of UNITE.^[6]
