Zhou Peiyuan (born August 28, 1902, died, November 24, 1993) was a renowned theoretical physicist of China, working at the Department of Physics at Peking University.
Jiusan Society
Peiyuan has served as president of the Jiusan Society. The society is a minor political party in China. Its name means "September 3", to commemorate Japanese surrender in 1945.[1]
Pugwash Conferences Council
In 1988 Zhou Peiyuan was listed as serving on the Council of the Pugwash Conferences on Science and World Affairs.[2]
