Sigmund Eisenscher
Sigmund Eisenscher is a Communist activist who wrote occasionally for People's Daily World.[1] He ran unsuccessfully for Wisconsin Governor and Milwaukee Mayor in 1946 and 1948 respectively.[2] He was the Wisconsin Communist Party USA Secretary.[3]
Communist Party reformer
In 1991 Sig Eisenscher, Illinois, was one of several hundred Communist Party USA members to sign the a paper "An initiative to Unite and Renew the Party"-most signatories left the Party after the December 1991 conference to found Committees of Correspondence.[4]
Committees of Correspondence connection
In 1994 Sig Eisenscher Chicago, was listed on a "Membership, Subscription and Mailing List" for the Chicago Committees of Correspondence, an offshoot of the Communist Party USA[5]
Sig Eisensher sent greetings to the Second Committees of Correspondence National Conference, held July 12-14 1996, in New York.[6]
