Resistance Bookshop

On the heels of the 'liberation of Albert Park', a large group of people, including Pat Bolster, Alan Robson, Roger Fowler and Graeme Whimp, opened the first Resistance Bookshop on Queen Street, Auckland, in 1969. Auckland Resistance was established independently of the Maoist Auckland PYM, who had their own bookshop. By 1971 three or four dozen people were involved, with seventy associate members.[2]
