The Occupy Ithaca demonstration is a part of the Occupy Movement which began on Sept. 17, 2011 with the original Occupy Wall Street demonstration in New York City. Template:TOCnestleft

DSA Involvement
Democratic Socialists of America leader Theresa Alt participated in an Occupy Ithaca rally on October 5, taking with her a sign she had previously made. She wrote of her experience,[1]
- "There I met a comrade, was able to hand her the sign, and thus freed myself to pass out DSA leaflets and get myself interviewed by the local Ithaca College television station."
