Nathaniel Nathanson

Nathaniel L. Nathanson (December 21, 1908-November 8, 1983) was born in New Haven, Connecticut. Nathanson served as law clerk for Circuit Judge Julian J. Mack from 1933 to 1934 and for Supreme Court Justice Louis D. Brandeis from 1934 to 1935. From 1935 to 1936 Nathanson was an attorney for the Securities Exchange Commission. Northwestern University appointed Nathanson assistant professor of law in 1936, associate professor in 1941 and professor in 1946.[1]

American Civil Liberties Union

As at April 11, 1983, Nathaniel Nathanson served as an Honorary Director for the Illinois branch of the American Civil Liberties Union.[2]
