Mark Schaeffer

Template:TOCnestleft Mark Schaeffer is on the Editorial Committee of Democratic Left, DSA’s magazine. He has been active in Democratic Socialists of America since its 1982 founding convention. He is a member of the state board of Citizen Action of New York, and is active in People of Albany United for Safe Energy (PAUSE) among other progressive organizations. He worked for Environmental Action Foundation in the 1980s, and coordinated several Albany actions for 350.org, founded by Bill McKibben.[1]

Those listed as helping produce the October 1973 issue were David Bensman, Henry Bayer, Gretchen Donart, David Gaberman, Tom Kramer, David Kusnet, Jon Ratner, Ronnie Steinberg Ratner, Mark Schaeffer, Nancy Shier.[2]

Mark Schaeffer New York supported the Democratic Socialists of America Unity grouping, established for the 2017 Democratic Socialists of America National Convention in Chicago.[7]
