In 1989 Lisa Foley was the DC/MD/Northern VA. Democratic Socialists of America membership secretary.[1] She also sat on the steering committee of the Metro D.C. Coalition for Choice.[2]
DSA Feminist Commission
In 1992 the Democratic Socialists of America Feminist Commission reelected Christine Riddiough as chair. In addition Lisa Foley and Patricia Sexton agreed to serve as vice chairs. Jerry Flieger, Ruth Spitz, Paul Baer and Julie Whitbeck agreed to serve on the commission steering committee[3].

In 1994 Lisa Foley was a member of the Democratic Socialists of America. She was named as a lawyer and activist in the Washington D.C./Maryland/Virginia local of the Democratic Socialists of America . She was also active in the DSA Feminist Commission.[4]

Democratic Socialists of America members were at Greenbelt Labor Day Festival, 2015, canvassing for DSA and Bernie Sanders. They were Woody Woodruff, Lisa Foley Stand, Kurt Stand and Lucy Duff.[5]
