Kai Wright is the editorial director at ColorLines.[1]

Wright is an Alfred Knobler Fellow of The Nation Institute and his writing appears regularly The Nation, The Root and The American Prospect, among other publications. Wright is also author of Drifting Toward Love: Black, Brown, Gay and Coming of Age on the Streets of New York, as well as two books of African-American history.

JournoList

Kai Wright was an identified member of JournoList - an email group of approximately 400 "progressive" and socialist journalists, academics and "new media" activists.

JournoList members reportedly coordinated their messages in favor of Barack Obama and the Democrats, and against Sarah Palin and the Republican Party. JournoList was founded in 2007 and was closed down in early 2010.[2]
