Greg Anrig

JournoList

Greg Anrig, was an identified member of JournoList - an email group of approximately 400 "progressive" and socialist journalists, academics and "new media" activists.

JournoList members reportedly coordinated their messages in favor of Barack Obama and the Democrats, and against Sarah Palin and the Republican Party. JournoList was founded in 2007 and was closed down in early 2010.[1]

Involvement with The Century Foundation

Anrig is Vice President of programs at The Century Foundation.[2]

He has been responsible for overseeing the Century Foundation's projects on public policy in addition to its fellows.[3]

Other journalistic activities

Previously, Anrig was a staff writer and Washington correspondent for Money magazine.[4]

He is currently coeditor, along with Tova Andrea Wang, of Immigrations New Frontiers: Experiences from the Emerging Gateway States.[5]

Anrig is a regular columnist for the Guardian Unlimited and is also a featured blogger on TPM Cafe.[6]

Anrig, along with Isabel Sawhill, has contributed an article to the publication Democracy A Journal of Ideas, on the deficit. In the preamble, both Anrig and Sawhill are described as "two leading fiscal experts".[7]

Political essays

Anrig, along with Richard c. Leone, co-edited the following three collections of essays: "Liberty Under Attack; Reclaiming Our Freedoms in an Age of Terror"; "The War on Our Freedoms: Civil Liberties in an Age of Terrorism" and "Social Security Reform: Beyond the Basics". He is also author of "The Conservatives Have No Clothes: Why Right-Wing Ideas Keep Failing".[8]
