Elizabeth McAlister
Elizabeth McAlister is an activist nun who was excommunicated from the Catholic Church after she married a former priest, Philip Berrigan. She has been arrested on numerous occasions, most recently, for her role in vandalizing a nuclear submarine base in 2018. Her daughter is Frida Berrigan.
"McAlister and the other six members of the Kings Bay Plowshares 7 illegally entered the Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay on April 4, 2018. They chose that date to correspond with the 50th anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., fellow member Patrick O’Neill explained in an op-ed in the Baltimore Sun."[1]

Steve Kelly, Patrick O'Neill and Carmen Trotta – were convicted last October on charges of misdemeanor trespass and three felonies: destruction of property on a Naval Station, depredation of government property and conspiracy to do these things"[2]
