Deborah Sagner

Template:TOCnestleft Deborah Sagner... is the president of the Sagner Family Foundation, whose mission is to support non-profits working to make structural change in order to advance social, economic, and racial justice. She is also the vice president of The Sagner Companies, Inc., a residential and commercial real estate development company.

Deborah practiced as a family and play therapist working primarily with underprivileged and at-risk children and families. She is the author of The Family Play Genogram (1999), a guidebook for the play therapy technique she pioneered and popularized. She was a board member of the Democracy Alliance and was a founding donor of J Street.

Raised in New Jersey, Deborah Sagner has a BA from Brandeis University, an MA from Tufts, and an MSW from Fordham.[1]
