"DSA state legislature victories"

From Liza Featherstone in Jacobin:

Philadelphia sent three DSA-endorsed candidates to state government: Nikil Saval to State Senate, and Rick Krajewski and Elizabeth Fiedler to the statehouse. Minnesota also gained a socialist state senator, Jen McEwen. In Western Montana, DSA helped send Danny Tenenbaum to the statehouse. [2]

Western Montana Democratic Socialists of America May 7 · Recently Western Montana DSA endorsed Danny Tenenbaum in his race for House District 95.

His statement:

"In my day job I'm a public defender. Every day I go to work and help people survive a system that favors the wealthy over the poor. White people over Indigenous. Cages over care. Debt over freedom. I started this campaign because deep down I felt like I was managing the symptoms of a disease without dealing with its root causes. I'm running to fight those root causes, and to give all Montanans a decent quality of life free of hunger, homelessness, violence, and poverty."
