Fields of interest
My current research projects explore the gender and sexual politics of transatlantic liberation movements, child radicalism, and the revolutionary praxis of black women and girls. Both my scholarship and my teaching navigate histories of transnationalism and migration, race and racism, gender and sexuality, feminism and intersectionality, and Afro-Asian intimacies in the Anglophone Caribbean, the United Kingdom, and North America. Currently, I am writing a book on desire and the interwoven itineraries of black revolutionaries in the twentieth-century Atlantic world.
