The Chicago Area Committee for a Sane Nuclear Policy was the Chicago branch of SANE, A Citizens' Organization for a Sane World. It is now known as Peace Action.
March on Washington for Peace in Vietnam
On November 1965, Paul Lauter, Peace Education, American Friends Service Committee; Richard Rothstein, Students for a Democratic Society and Marjorie Rosenberg, Executive Secretary for Chicago Area Committee for a Sane Nuclear Policy were listed as signatories on a letter to the members of SANE, notifying them of the March on Washington for Peace in Vietnam which was scheduled for Nov. 27, 1965.[1]
