In 2019 Cameron Forgey stood from AD 26 for the California Democratic Party Central Committee.
As a young man growing up in the southern Central-Valley, I’ve been made aware of pressing issues facing my community and peers. Over the months prior the 2018 midterm election, I’ve had the pleasure of working for both the Andrew Janz campaign, and as a canvasser for the American Civil Liberties Union. Because of these opportunities, I have been able to interact and learn from a diverse group of individuals who live in my district. Through engaging with the members of my community this way, I have seen firsthand the damage our political climate has caused. The southern-valley has been neglected by political leaders, and has remained one of the most desolate areas in California.[1]
